Designing education
Immigr8 is one solution to the challenge of designing a sustained learning experience. The platform promotes the acquisition of basic skills for adjusting to life in the United States by connecting immigrants to simple, engaging instructional videos. Potential videos include a series on the American Citizenship Test, clips to refine English, or training videos surrounding job applications. Informed by B.J. Fogg’s theory on behavioral change, the platform also includes a rewards system and network of support.
